As you may have noticed, the blog has a new layout that I hope is a bit more visually appealing while still maintaining simplicity and readability. It's courtesy of my sister, who has much more patience when it comes to fiddling with these types of things than I do. She runs her own blog called Books and Balks about her two favorite pastimes - reading and watching baseball - so you should pay her a visit! Anyway, there might still be some small kinks to work out in the layout, especially for my older posts that don't seem to want to cooperate with it fully, but that's mainly my perfectionism talking.

As for what to expect in the future, January was obviously an exception in that I needed to give myself a tight deadline in order to successfully follow through on my year-end list and there's no way I can keep up that sort of schedule indefinitely. I doubt anyone would want me to anyway. However, I definitely do not want the blog to go dead again, so I've been mulling over a few ideas for upcoming posts. If anyone has specific suggestions as to the type of content they'd like to see, let me know! I promise I don't bite. At any rate, I'll be working on a new post over the weekend, so keep your eyes peeled.
